GEM's Core Purpose¶
Group Experience Management
At its core, GEM is designed to manage one or multiple experiences at a physical location. This involves coordinating various logistical factors, including:
- Guests signing up, often in groups (e.g., families) who want to experience it together.
- Arriving at different times and approaching the experience in stages.
- Checking in by having their tickets scanned and devices assigned.
- Being grouped with others to form teams of up to eight participants.
- Varying time requirements for putting on headsets.
- Spending different durations in the onboarding area.
- Experiencing slight variations in time spent within each zone.
- Processing headsets between offboarding and reuse for the next group.
- And other operational factors that impact the overall flow.
GEM ensures these elements are managed efficiently, creating a seamless experience for both guests and operators.
