Required Packages for Setting up a Show in GEM
The following list includes all the necessary packages to begin setting up a show with GEM and usually comes prepackaged.
You can store experience files anywhere that fits your workflow, they don’t have to be in the same directory as GEM. However, it’s best to keep all GEM-related files together, especially the scripts folder, for consistency and ease of use.
GEM Server
The GEM Server is a critical component of the system. Proper configuration is essential for its functionality. If not set up correctly, it may not operate as expected.
GEM CLI
GEM has a Command Line Interface (CLI) that can be used to help set up.
GEM GUI
The GEM Graphical User Interface is accessible via a web browser. Proper configuration is essential for its functionality.
Experience Package
The Show Package contains the game server, the APK file for your headset, and a manifest file. When adequately configured, GEM will connect to the game server to enable functionality.
